NAUTI THOUGHTS: Inexpensive Workout Clothes

HAPPY WELLNESS WEDNESDAY AND HAPPY LOVE DAY!

On this special holiday, we're focusing on self-love! And what says "I love myself" more than taking your cute, little booty on a shopping spree. Specifically, one that will help your nauti body stay nauti. This Valentine's Day is dedicated to finding cute, inexpensive workout clothes because everyone knows if you look good, you feel good. And if you feel good working out, you're only going to maximize the awesome benefits you'll get for your body.

Let's face it, activewear is expensive. Especially if it is good quality activewear. Lululemon's leggings run for an average of $98, Nike sports bras are around $65 each, and Puma track jackets can be up to $75. Now, we're not trying to substitute quality and cuteness for a lower price, so here are 4 places you can go to get the best of both worlds when buying activewear.

1. Target: I know, literally wow, can Target ever disappoint us? The answer is no. Target carries Champion leggings, shirts, shorts, and sports bras ranging in price from $12-$30. These leggings are the classic leggings you need in your everyday life. They've got solid black and grey, and fun designed leggings, both in fitted and bootlegged style. Target also has a wide variety of sports bras that cater to every bust size. These come in so many colors and are usually pretty cheap.

2. Nordstrom: Okay, this is a tad more expensive (leggings pricing around $30-$50) but it is cheaper than Lulu's and they are my favorite so I had to share. Nordstrom's brand Zella produces some bomb leggings. Not only are they cute in style, but they are so diverse! When you wear them, you're ready and comfortable to run 10 miles, take an intense yoga class, go grocery shopping, chill at home, or sleep. They also have tons of really cute tops and jackets, perfect for working out and wearing casually.

3. Forever 21: Okay I will admit I would never buy leggings from Forever 21 because hello those are see-through. But, forever has some cute gym tanks and sports bras that are around $7 to $10. Another cool thing about Forever 21 is in the sports bras section they tell which ones are good for what workout. It is on a scale from high impact (cardio, running), medium impact (lifting, cycling, pilates), and low impact (yoga, netflixing, eating). And their sports bras come with padded cups (shoutout to my fellow small chested gals).

4. Marshalls: Wow, another store that just cannot disappoint. Let's start with the fact that they have Calvin Klein underwear and sports bra packs starting at $9.99. Yes, I know, $9.99? Amazing! Marshalls also has discounted Nike and other top brand gear and HINT: if you shop in the men's sweatpants section you'll find cheaper, softer oversized pants perfect for lounging around.

Buy one, buy all, go crazy, love yourself and always...

  1. I agree that buying high quality fitness wear from renowned brands on regular basis proves to be very expensive. While Target is a good option and so are the other ones you’ve mentioned, there are also some good brands that have lower priced products on their online store. Like when it comes to leggings, Ultracor leggings is my first choice as they are of reasonable price.
